Chris loves working with inspiring entrepreneurs and prior to founding Hypha spent 10 years investing in smaller UK companies across the healthcare supply chain, software and industrial sectors. He is passionate about helping high potential business to grow into global names, like those he worked with earlier in his career.
He is based in London.

Matthew has been working with and investing in growth companies for his entire career, having previously led origination for two top performing UK funds. More recently, Matthew has held senior operational roles as CFO at Atom Learning, a Softbank-backed scaleup, and Goalhanger, the UK’s largest independent podcast company. He is based in London.

Matt has worked with owner managed businesses for over 15 years, having spent the early part of his career as an M&A advisor. Prior to founding Hypha he led a regionally focused fund in the North of England, where he supported smaller growth companies on their journey. Matt is a chartered accountant and holds the CISI Corporate Finance qualification.
He is based in the North West.
